The best breakfast food In Jefferson City hands down
Really good food and a very nice staff
Little spot, hole in the wall, fresh food, Non-chain then this is the spot for you to eat at. Why would you waste your time with I-Gross, or some trucked in horse oats with water added when you can have fresh good eats.We had omlets, muffins, and the works. All he food was great and hot. The portions were nice and big, if you leave hungry, your not eating enough.Service was good, there is a wait on the weekends if you have a good size group, and there is not much parking but it's worth the wait.Bathrooms are clean, water needs to be filtered, so get something else to drink. Like there a tap right to the missouri river. LolGo check out this little spot.
Best breakfast in Jefferson City hands down! Pancakes are huge, staff is super friendly, the bacon is crunchy(as it should be). The breakfast burritos are delicious. You better show up early if you dont want to wait though, the dining area is small but quaint. You won't regret visiting Angelina's next time you're looking for good food and hot coffee.
That look like roast beef just slapped on a plate with the tatoes was very disposed but I ate the potatoes and my eggs and left
Friendly staff. Good food.
Awesome sausage and cheese omelet--one of the best I have ever had. The couple across from me had the biggest breakfast burritos I've ever seen; positively stuffed with goodies! Prices very reasonable. You might have to wait a short while--very small place. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path and far from the madding crowd, but busy, so popular. Parking is a little difficult on the small lot. Worth it though. Definite 5-stars!
Great little mom and pop breakfast stop
Love this place. Great food and great service.
Best in service!!! Quality, consistent home cooked breakfast served all day. Quiet, clean and great for families. I love their tea.
Nice clean place to eat. Service was great. And they look out for there customer's. And a cup of coffee to go. That was great.
I like this quaint little place. They always have good food that is made to order with a bottomless coffee mug. Seating outside if you want it which is great in the spring and fall time.
Both bathrooms were out of order and it was COLD inside (ceiling fans were going full tilt). The food is typical diner fare with limited and a little plain, but good. They do a nice job with chicken fried steak-tasty gravy. I'll definitely try them again and if it's cold I'll ask if they can turn the ceiling fans off. The service is prompt and they do regular checks to see if you need refills.
This place has cozy, hometown cafe nailed. Food is great- not too fancy, but always delicious. A simple breakfast done very well! Also love that I can end my meal with a fresh chocolate chip cookie from the pastry case!
Quaint local place for breakfast. Food has always been hot. Service had been good. Parking can be a nightmare.
Wow! This place is a gem! The food is plentiful and delicious. The waitress is friendly, knowledgable of their menu and made good suggestions, alert and efficient. The restaurant was full, but she treated our group well as if we were the only ones present, she didn't rush us. She also brought coffee often. Their credit card machine was down that morning, but the workers acted as if it was their best day ever. I was impressed by their great attitudes!
Original server was MIA for our table but continued to help others consistently after food was received. But the other server that helped us was great and warm. Bathrooms clean. Venue is very small so wait should be expected and makes things seemed rushed when you are the ones dining. Very intimate closeness to other tables everyone can see everyone so no privacy. Food was average but not as expected or great.
The lunch specials are great--portions are generous, and the service is excellent--your coffee cup or tea glass is always full. Angelina's is one of those hometown dining spots--non-chain, locally owned, good food--that are getting harder to find. You'll enjoy your breakfast or lunch, I promise!
Amazing little restaurant to go to! So glad we live close to enjoy the food from here! I have ordered almost everything in the menu and have yet to dislike anything!
Love Angelina's! A lot of food for the money. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs! Service was great and fast! Love going there!
It breaks my heart that they're closing at the end of this week, November 8th of 2019 and until they open up a new location yet to be determined I will be patiently waiting. This is the best breakfast anywhere in Jefferson City. Their omelets are just incredible, and instead of just throwing a bunch of items inside a wrapping of eggs they actually mix everything together and cook it very well. Everything is Absolutely Fresh, always hot, and always delicious. I can't wait till they find the new location so I can be one of the first through the door
The best part about this place is the authenticity of the food and the staff. Its refreshing to go somewhere that's not a chain, or corporation. Alot of good vibes and great food. One of my favorite places to go.
There biscuits and gravy were amazing! The biscuits were soft and the gravy was so good! They have nice people there. They did a good job.
Great food, breakfast all day(biggest biscuits for biscuits & gravy I've seen), wraps and full grill menu, and premium deli meat sandwiches. Personal service. Parking is limited but is worth the trip to this quaint neighborhood diner/deli. If you and a friend are hungry try their ULTIMATE OMLET guarantee neither of you will go away hungry.
Great food, cute little place. Great service. I'll come back next time we are in town.
Fried potatoes, eggs over medium, perfectly crisp bacon, and toast with butter on all four corners. I am so glad there wasn't a fast food joint anywhere near this place. I had an assignment to do and lucked out finding this place thinking I was going to have to eat some quick food at break time. Angelina's Cafe is a complete blessing and the food was amazing. The hostess could see I was in a rush was able to prep my order to go and the cook was also great, because she made sure the food was ready and hot very quickly. I will be back to this cafe for sure, apparently today is meatloaf for lunch and I'm feeling like I need to try it. Sorry I don't have a picture to share like normal, the food was just that good.
Delicious! We stopped in for breakfast at this small local spot, they were clean, quick and very nice.
I guess I am the odd man out in making this negative review here. I came here with my wife and 3 kids. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is pleasant. Our problem is with the food... the kitchen staff apparently doesn't know to use spices when cooking quality food. The food is so basic and so plain that it really does this place a disservice. My wife ordered an omelet and it tasted so bland she couldn't finish it so I tried it and I couldn't eat it neither. The kids ordered french toast but what they got was something more like regular toast covered with powdered sugar - true french toast is battered. None of us, including the kids, enjoyed the food. This place could do so well if they had a new kitchen manager. The food quality is very poor and that is unfortunate.
Always a great place to eat! Never had anything that wasn't great.
Very limited parking. Small joint with efficient but not very friendly service. In fact the server was one of the coldest, unwelcoming servers we've had in a long time.My BLT looked delicious but then I bit into a big mouthful of disappointment. The bacon was hard, cold, almost inedible except for the fat on the edges. My husband's omelet was passable and that dude usually gobbles down everything. The french fries were good and the people watcing was fun. The dessert showcase was empty that day.
Food was great. 1st time visit. Very friendly. Will definitely be back.
Delicious food! Not a long wait. Very kid friendly!!!
Tiny cafe with alright food priced well.
Food was pretty bland this time (usually has great flavor) the service was great! About a 15 minute wait. Got so Smokey in there that I started coughing and and eyes were starting to burn a little. We usually have a way better experience. But this wasn't too bad still.
This is a great place to eat breakfast at. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the folks that work there are happy to help. The food is reasonably priced and the service is not too bad either. If your in the area do not hesitate! I highly recommend eating here!
Great place for breakfast(I'm sure for lunch too)! Food was delicious and nice portions. Friendly staff that makes you want to keep going back!
Biscuits and gravy were awesome, excellent service and value.
Best biscuits and gravy in town.
Angelina's is a quaint little dinner. They have some of the best breakfast. We have yet to try anything we have not liked. One of these days I will venture off the breakfast menu for lunch.
I would have taken a photo of the food. I'm usually good about that. But it's that good. You won't stop and won't be able to resist digging in! I'll try next time to have my phone out instead of a fork.
Asked for eggs over medium, but they were barely over easy. Waitress seemed irritated. Very unfriendly. Would have liked another coffee refill, but I knew that wasn't going to happen. Bacon was good....other than that, I couldn't say anything good about the experience.
Wonderful breakfast in a cozy little cafe. Thick and juicy bacon, perfectly prepared eggs, and a very sweet staff.
Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and good food.
Good place to go for a diner breakfast.
I've been coming to angelinas for a couple years now and never once been unpleased with my service or my meal. The breakfast is fantastic. The biscuits and gravy are the best in JCMO! And even the lunch menu is great. Get the lunch specials, they're amazing!
Great omelets, huge biscuits. It's small, so you may have to wait for a table, especially Sunday mornings. The food is good, and its nice to have a neighborhood cafe within walking distance to several residential streets.
Nice quaint atmosphere. Japanese paintings are really nice. Small cafe. Usually busy. Only serves breakfast and lunch. Decent prices.
Busy place with terrific food and service.
The breakfast was amazing. First time eating here but definitely won't be the last. The staff was super friendly and quick.
Excellent staff, quick service. Biscuits and gravy, the best!!!
